Married in October of 2007 Stacie was the quintessential Flirty Bride and used her own wedding as an opportunity to bring to life her vision of what a flirty bride is, and how much fun she should have, both planning her own wedding and at the wedding itself.

Save the Date Movie Tickets

Save the Date Movie Tickets

I say if you're creating a themed event, go all the way! Since we seem to be on a movie themed Flirty Idea week here on The Flirty Guide with the introduction of Studio MSV's very classy Save the Date Wedding Movies and Burkart Videography's Wedding Movie Poster idea it got me to thinking...

When I think of movies I think of the feature itself, tickets and popcorn. So why not incorporate those elements into your Save the Date Cards? Errrrr I mean tickets!

For a nominal fee you can have your very own 2-part tickets printed up at a website like PsPrint.com. What better way to set a movie or concert theme for your party or event from the moment you send out your Save the Dates?

Oh and don't forget to rent a popcorn machine. Any guests who actually remember to bring their tickets can redeem them during your cocktail hour :) Or you can always do small fancy bags of gourmet popcorn as your favors.

Save the Date 3D Movie Tickets
Or like this!

If you're handy with a photo editing or illustration program you can design the tickets yourself. If not you can probably hire an invitation company or definitely hire a graphic designer to do the designwork for you. You could use a custom illustration like the one shown above, one of your engagement photos (be sure to discuss with your photorapher) or take your own fun snapshot. Think creative. A photo of you and your sweetie in a movie theatre eating popcorn would be super cute. You could have a friend or your wedding photographer take the photo before the movie starts.

I'll work on more Flirty Ideas to create your very own Movie themed wedding and post them here on The Flirty Guide :)

For green and eco-chic brides you can print up your tickets with this eco-friendly company. Their website says: Here are some ways to make a great impression using green printing and save some green in the process:

• Print on 100% recycled paper

• Print with soy-based inks

• Print double-sided documents

(An extra bonus is that PsPrint recycles all paper waste)

And don't forget the popcorn. Check out the cute Candyland Dessert buffet MB Wedding Design and Events created at the 2009 Promises and Pearls showcase.
