Table Names with a Musical Twist

What to do when the theme of your wedding is "Love Rocks."

Part of the fun of making a wedding truly your own is all about personalizing the details. Here is a fun table number idea DJ Carl Mindling saw at a recent wedding.

Each reception table was named after a musical group or a particular song. On the flip side was the explanation imparting a bit of trivia about how each was of special significance to the bride and groom.

This was a detail that had not been mentioned to him before hand. But being a consummate professional with a keen eye for details he not only read each card before the reception started.... He made it a point to play the songs and groups his clients loved most during the reception. What made it even more fun was seeing the surprise on the guests faces as their "table" was played.

Love the idea for the favorite band names as table numbers! I'm planning to use my favorite flowers instead of numbers, and it's going to tie in nicely with my garden party, eco-friendly feel. I'm either going to draw them or I'm going to stamp them onto pink card stock that I already acquired. Then, after the wedding I plan to put them into a big frame or many smaller frames to use as art. I also love your other DIY ideas for weddings! Very Creative!
