Before becoming a custom bridal veil specialist, Diana Ackerman began her career working with brides as a vintage wedding gown restoration and alterations seamstress.

Diana's training pretty much began as soon as she was old enough to pick up a needle and thread. She is a third generation seamstress trained by and following in her mother's footsteps. Her grandfather was a tailor and her grandmother was an expert at creating traditional Hungarian embroidery pieces as well as being a knitter and crocheter. With all of that creativity in her blood Diana was destined to carry on the family tradition.

Before relocating to Texas, Diana lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for years where she had a thriving business working one on one with brides in need of her expertise. Her collection of veils is outstanding and she is always willing to take on special details like a laced or finished edge as well as adding hand sewn Swarovski Austrian crystals and beads to her handmade creations. She offers both nylon illusion and silk tulle veils.

Her knowledge is extensive and she will guide brides who aren't sure about what type of veil they need to select the best style, color and length to complement their gown.

Diana is able to ship veils nationwide so no matter where you live you can order one of her custom, handmade veils. Each veil is made to order and made with love. Diana hand sews each couture veil to a wire, not plastic, comb. They are of heirloom quality and delivered in a diamond white brocade fabric covered keepsake box.

Her bridal garters are made with only the most luxurious silk satin ribbon, vintage laces and unique embellishments available. She offers her garters in a variety of colors including white, silk white, ivory, and muted tones of blue, peach, mint, taupe, and blush.
